WOW, the new Committee is certainly kicking some goals and scoring some tries at the moment and the pace of the play is intense. Attached to this is the new Sponsorship Package for 2014. Please read it, distribute it to all the people you know that may be interested in sponsoring the Club. This is very exciting !
The people to speak to on the Committee are Grant Regan, Ben Russell,Allan Hughes, and myself. Some of these spots will go quickly so don't wait.
Thanks

Good Evening All,
Last Thursday, the Committee of the Engadine Lions Rugby Union Club decided which competition format that we would submit ourselves to for the 2014 Year. This effectively is that we would submit hopefully two teams into the Division 1 competition. This would allow the club to rebuild strength in playing group numbers, skill and confidence over the coming year.
Therefore, we now request any expressions of interest or applications for Coaching, Training snd Management staff for the 2014 Calendar Year. The Applications can be for a coaching, training or management positions of each side or for the club as a whole. If an application should be for the club as a whole, then that applicant should indicate who they would want on their staff.
Applicants should cover the following criterion in their written submissions:-
a) Details of prior experience and qualifications (copies of quals required if obtained) of coaching / training a Rugby Union Club;
b) Details of working with children clearance under the relevant NSW legislation or at the least, the application number to evidence application is in progress;
c) Details of experience / statement on how the applicant would deal with representation at the IDRU judiciary as required during the year;
d) Detail all positive aspects and coaching/training/management aspects that they would want to bring to the club;
e) Be able to commence coaching / training / management of all available players by 1 December 2013; and
f) Details of any other information that the applicant wishes to have considered.
The Engadine Lions Rugby Union Club is the most respected club in the Illawarra Competition. The club has won multiple premierships and has a good, robust and proud history for almost 20 years. We are now looking for the right person to take the play gong group to a successful campaign in the year ahead with Sevens tournaments, inter-regional trial matches and a full competition program anticipated.
Applications should be made in writing in confidence to my details below and applicants need to be available for an initial interview with the executive members of the Committee and the Club Captain at 8pm, Thursday 21 November 2013.
Applications close Tuesday, 19 November 2013.
